News Finisterre at What If Live! – Good Profit Event

Cornish company presents sustainability alongside Al Gore by Howard Swanwick

19/11/2007:// A few weeks ago, Finisterre presented at the biggest ecotextiles event in London, where they talked about their research in the area of sustainable design and recyclable fabric innovations. Amidst corporate suits, Finisterre showed up in jeans and represented the underdogs. Off the back of this, they have since been invited to speak at another event at which Al Gore, who's just been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, will be talking.

The What If Live! – Good Profit Event, which is a day that provides an opportunity for business leaders to hear inspiring and compelling business sustainability stories from around the world. Finisterre has been recognized and invited to talk about its pioneering story, as a small business doing big things, “We’ve kept our heads down, making sincere sustainable decisions since day, never reactionary in order to chase profits, and I guess people are starting to separate the wheat from the chaff, the guys who mean it and the guys who don’t,” said Finisterre founder Tom Kay.

Finisterre continues to trailblaze with unbelievable products and an inspiring ethos - the team of four guys and a dog have always got something on the go, to keep informed on their movements, click here.
