View two key issues threatening surfing and water quality in Chile
by Josh Berry
20/03/2007:// Save the Waves presents a short documentary about the organization's two key issues threatening surfing and water quality in Chile: a proposed sewage pipeline in Pichilemu and the pulp mill pollution debate in Chile's 7th and 8th regions. In this short film the audience will be taken on travels with activist Josh Berry through the breathtaking landscapes and waves of Chile; but the viewer will also bear witness to the equally breathtaking industrial water pollution from sewage and forestry. Josh encounters environmental problems, mythical waves, local activists, angry fishermen and corporate executives in his quest for solutions to oceanic problems. We meet a young movement of athlete activists passionate to change their world in an unforgettable and contemporary story. Featuring the surfing of Ramon Navarro, Shane Dorian, Congrio Colorado and Quechua.
