News Climate chaos season

BBC1 kicks off climate change series by Howard Swanwick

24/05/2006:// Sir David Attenborough's new series, focusing the spotlight on climate change starts tonight at 9.00pm on BBC1.

Relentless in his pursuit of natural history for over fifty years now, Sir David launches a new series aimed at raising the awareness of climate change.

As far back as 1954, when he launched his first televised series, Zoo Quest, he has demonstrated unrivalled passion for his subject and a deep understanding of our planets workings. In 2001 he narrated The Blue Planet, focusing on the oceans wildlife and eco systems.

Tonight he shares his personal insights and gives us his take on how the world is changing. He puts forward his ideas about what we can do to slow down climate change and preserve the natural world.
