Fifteen junior surfers from across Britain and Ireland are to receive special coaching in Portugal

12/03/2008:// The first Surf Solutions coaching project of 2008 gets under with the with The Easter Project.
It is taking place in in South West Portugal and is based at The Surf Experience in Lagos.
The project, which has already gained great success in competition for those invited, with stretch over three weeks with five UK and Irish juniors invited on each trip.
Among the surfers to benefit from the scheme are Damien Conway, Aaron Reid, youngsters Miles Lee-Hargreaves and Tassy Swallow, plus a couple of older athletes includingWelsh Champion Beth Mason and freshly crowned Student National Champion Billy Norways.
“Last December was the first coaching programme for us down in Portugal and I was so impressed with the conditions, variety and set up of the crew at The Surf Experience that I’m excited to be bringing The Easter Project there this year.” said Head Coach Joel Gray.
“Yet again the focus for the week is on sound technique with various drills, exposure, locations, along with video and stills analysis used to achieve this aim,” added Gray.
The Easter Project is the first of a busy year for Surf Solutions Team with active projects lined up for 2008 in France, the UK, Australia, Spain and Hawaii.
