Shades of green
A winter jaunt in Celtic climes is strictly for the keen… The waves are fickle and dicey, there is no predictability, but this can add to the pleasure. Dan Crockett and Greg Welch capture moments of joy amid the chaos.
A sudden burst of sunlight revealed the intense green shades propounded by endless tourist literature. This particular stop was out in the wild, away from the surfing hubs, at the beginning of an adventure. The joy of this coastline is the endless potential; the driving is also endless if you want to find waves. This day, we were perpetually frustrated, chasing one headland after another and never finding a surfable line-up.
