Ok, Ok, I know. We started off with a flurry of activity, and then nada, nothing, not a word, for the next six months. It appears that we have been doing nothing, or we simply disappeared, but I can assure you that is not the case. We simply had to rethink a few things, adjust a few working practices, and do a bit more work than usual.
When we launched, we decided to have a cover price, or a subscription rate. And we decided to be bi-monthly. We very quickly realised the way forward was to be free, and let anyone download Drift to read.
The reason we have had some delays, is that we decided to make our reader. By that I mean the nice, page-turning hi-tech thing you read Drift with. We were using a company who built issue one for us, but we decided to do it in-house, hence the delay.
We also were using a marketing company to get Drift out there, but have decided to bring all of this in-house also. This means that we keep out costs to a minimum, and get the best deals going for you as readers.
Rest assured, issue two is ready. And in the usual publishing style, issue three is ready too! We just can’t put them out until the reader is finished.
When it is, which should be in the next month or so, we'll let you all know. Just make sure you're on the mail list and voila!
